Environmental sustainability or “going green” is a not an easy thing to do. It takes the commitment to follow through on your beliefs, to understand the blessings of nature that are all around us.
"Green" is something that inspired by nature, llc believes in. Surprisingly, there is very little effort by most florists in the industry to actively pursue this concept. We believe that being responsible about the way we use our resources should not be done in spite of our business, but in accordance with it. As a "go green" trendsetter, we see this as not a fad, but as the future of florists all over the country.
We won't charge you anything extra because of our green practices. In fact, your event might cost less because of it. The following list describes a few of the practices we employ:
- Purchase from local wholesalers and growers to minimize the carbon footprint
- Use seasonal flowers whenever possible
- Compost biodegradable refuse to promote natural waste reduction techniques
- Reuse vases and other containers to reduce unnecessary waste
- Choose office and floral supplies made of recycled materials to promote proper use of our natural resources
- Recycle most other materials including paper and plastic
- Use floral packaging and wrapping that is environmentally friendly
- Minimize the amount of packaging materials
- Offer our clients an affordable vase rental program
